We are located in Glenwood, which is about 2 hours (120 miles) northwest of downtown Minneapolis. Glenwood is 20 minutes south of Alexandria and easily accessible via Highways 55, 28, 29, and 104.
The best route from the Twin Cities is Interstate 94 to Sauk Centre; then west on 28 to Glenwood. From Glenwood's only stoplight, go south 3/4 mile on State 104; then turn (right – by the Public Boat Launch and Beach) on South Lakeshore Drive (#17), go
4 miles (long and curvy), turn right on Monte Beach Drive (gravel road). We are at the bottom of the hill.
Option #2 from the Twin Cities is Hwy 55 to Glenwood. Exit at Hwy 28 going into Glenwood, from Glenwood's only stoplight, go south 3/4 mile on State 104; then turn (right – by the Public Boat Launch and Beach) on South Lakeshore Drive (#17), go
4 miles (long and curvy), turn right on Monte Beach Drive (gravel road). We are at the bottom of the hill.
From the North: Exit I-94 at Alexandria (Hwy 29) and go south on Hwy 29. (approx. 15 miles to Glenwood) From Glenwood's only stoplight, go south 3/4 mile on State 104; then turn (right – by the Public Boat Launch and Beach) on South Lakeshore Drive (#17), go 4 miles (long and curvy), turn right on Monte Beach Drive (gravel road). We are at the bottom of the hill.
From the West: Take Hwy 28/29 to Glenwood, from Glenwood's only stoplight, go south 3/4 mile on State 104; then turn (right – by the Public Boat Launch and Beach) on South Lakeshore Drive (#17), go 4 miles (long and curvy), turn right on Monte Beach Drive (gravel road). We are at the bottom of the hill.
Caution: Monte Beach Drive (gravel road) is a minimum maintenance road in the winter.

? Saturday to Saturday Stay - $1,400.00 for 2008 summer season (peak) if booked by March 1, 2008.
? $1440 for 2009 Summer (Peak) season.
? $450.00 Deposit required for the summer season.
? $25 extra per person over 10 persons.
? 10% discount for 2 week consecutive bookings.

? Off-Peak Season: Post-Labor Day through Pre-Memorial Day Weekend.
? $125.00 per night – minimum of 2 night stay
? $100.00 deposit for off-peak season.
? Fall/Winter/Spring Special - book 7 days and pay only $650.00
? Fall/Winter/Spring Weekend packages also available. (Ex: 4 days/3 nights is $300.00)

Reservation Policy:

| We have a reservation fee of ($450 deposit (summer groups), $100 deposit (non-summer groups)) that can be paid by credit card or check. We will hold reservations for one week if you wish to send a check or money order. You will receive a confirmation packet of your reservation by mail. Final Payment is required before check in. We accept check, money order, cashier’s check, Visa, and Mastercard. Credit card payments will be charged a 4% service fee. |
